Our mandate

Our principles

Why we do what we do

World Eden Era pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of German tax law. That is not a formality. It is the legal framework that binds us: every activity, every euro spent serves one of the five purposes set out in our articles of association.

Concretely, our charter promotes five areas — both through our own initiatives and through cooperation with other tax-privileged organisations.

Acting selflessly, exclusively for the common good.

Charter purpose (§2 Articles of Association)

What we promote according to our charter

International development

We support the establishment of sustainable, self-sufficient structures in regions that depend on external assistance. Instead of short-term emergency aid, we invest in long-term infrastructure.

Nature conservation

Our systems are designed for resource efficiency: closed loops, minimal water and land use, no soil degradation.

Science and research

We develop and test our concepts on a scientific basis — where possible in cooperation with research institutions.

Animal and plant cultivation

Aquaponics combines fish farming and plant cultivation in a symbiotic system. Sustainable cultivation is our core technical principle, not an afterthought.

Youth work

We create hands-on learning spaces that give young people direct, experiential knowledge of sustainable food systems.

From charter to future

Our charter is our foundation. Our plans go deliberately beyond it.

Future plans

What we're working on next

Beyond our core charter purposes, we are pursuing concrete expansion steps to grow our impact:

Active educational work

Our own workshops and training programmes — so communities can operate and pass on our systems independently.

Reforestation projects

Reforestation of degraded land as a complement to our water-based systems — for greater biodiversity and soil health.

Water conservation programmes

Protecting and more efficiently using water resources in the regions where we are active.

Local self-sufficiency

Local communities receive not only technology, but also the organisational independence to sustain it themselves in the long term.

Innovation labs

Spaces for research and development of our systems — from smart sensors to new approaches to scaling.

Principles need action

Five charter purposes are a promise. Whether they become reality depends on the resources and the people behind them.

Turn purpose into action.

As a non-profit organisation, we are committed to using every euro in line with our charter. Your donation works exactly there.

Breathe life into one of our purposes.

Whether education, nature conservation, or research: for each of our charter purposes we're looking for people and partners who want to get involved.

Make our values visible.

Share what we stand for. Non-profit work lives on enough people knowing about it.
